Live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra 2LP

This 2LP captures the whole 1986 Sydney show with the Melbourne Symphony, and the orchestral swell on the ballads gives me chills every time. The vinyl itself is dead quiet between tracks, which matters a lot on a live record where you want to hear the room. Genuinely one of the best live albums I'v

The horns on this pressing sound huge without drowning out the vocals, which is rare for a live album. Side two alone is worth it.

I wasn't expecting a 1986 Sydney concert to sound this alive, but the horns on the Tour De Force numbers really fill the room. The two records themselves are flat and quiet, no crackle at all.
