Learn simple, stylish ways to show off your Elton John Brick Keyring—from desk decor to shelf accents—without hiding it in a drawer.
Quick answer
Display your Elton John Brick Keyring on a small stand, a mini easel, or inside a shadow box so the Elton logo and Farewell Yellow Brick Road text stay visible without being handled.
Why display a keyring?
The Brick Keyring is a compact souvenir from the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, but its size (1.5" x .78" x .60") makes it easy to lose in a drawer or bag. Giving it a dedicated spot turns it into a conversation piece that other fans will notice.
Trade-offs to consider
Because the keyring is small, it can disappear on a busy shelf. A plain white or black background helps the logo pop. Avoid direct sunlight for long periods—the printed Elton logo and text may fade over time.
How to display your Brick Keyring
- Choose a mini display stand or easel: Use a small acrylic or wooden easel (often sold for coins or small pins) to prop the keyring upright. Place it on a desk, bookshelf, or nightstand so the Elton logo faces forward. Check that the easel base is wide enough to hold the 0.6" depth of the keyring without tipping.
- Try a shadow box or glass dome: Set the keyring inside a small shadow box (3" x 3" or similar) or a glass cloche. You can lean it against the back wall or use a tiny dab of museum wax to keep it in place. This protects it from dust while keeping both sides visible. Avoid glues or tapes that could leave residue on the printed surfaces.
- Hang it on a key rack or corkboard: If you prefer to keep it functional, attach the keyring to a small hook on a wall-mounted key rack or pin it to a corkboard with a pushpin through the keyring loop. This keeps it accessible while still being a visible part of your Elton John collection. Make sure the hook or pin is secure so the keyring doesn't slide off and get lost.
