Elton John Remastered CD

The remaster on Border Song is what sold me, those gospel vocals come through so much cleaner than the copy I had years ago. Your Song still hits, but Take Me To The Pilot finally has the punch it deserved.

I've owned the original pressing for years and this remaster finally gives 'Border Song' the gospel punch it deserved. The horns on that track alone are worth the upgrade, and 'Take Me To The Pilot' still rocks harder than I remembered.

The remaster really opens up the quieter parts of Border Song, those gospel harmonies come through so much cleaner than on my old copy. I'd forgotten how strong the deep cuts are beyond the singles, and Take Me To The Pilot still hits hard. Worth rebuying for the sound alone.
