The Captain and The Kid CD

I’ve been listening to “The Bridge” on repeat since it arrived—its storytelling really ties the album together. The disc itself came securely packaged and plays without any skips. A solid addition for anyone who followed Elton’s earlier work.

Didn't expect the sequel to Captain Fantastic to actually hold up, but the title track and "The Bridge" got me right away. The CD itself sounds warm and full, no remaster weirdness. Thirty years between albums and it still feels like the same guy telling the rest of the story.

I was thrilled to see this hit #6 on the UK chart—the songwriting feels like a true return to his classic storytelling, especially on "The Bridge.
