Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 40th Anniversary Deluxe 2CD

The second disc of bonus tracks is what sold me, and honestly it holds up better than I expected for a reissue. The remastered version of the title track alone makes this worth owning if you only had the old pressing.

Getting both discs in one set was worth it just for the second disc of bonus tracks. I'd only ever heard the original album, so the demos and live versions felt like a whole new listen.

The remastered sound on this 40th anniversary edition is noticeably cleaner than my old CD, and having the whole double album plus extras spread across two discs makes the deluxe packaging worth it. I’ve been playing it nonstop since it arrived.
