The Fox LP

Wasn't sure what to expect from a record I'd never really dug into, but this transitional-era album has become a quiet favorite. The track sequencing flows really well across both sides.

I've spun this record maybe a dozen times since it arrived and the pressing is dead quiet, no surface noise at all. Tracks like "Elton's Song" hit different on vinyl than streaming ever did. If you're deep into his early 80s era, this one belongs in the collection.

This pressing captures that 1981 transition perfectly, and the warmth of the vinyl really lets Elton’s vocals shine through on the more experimental tracks. I've spun it three times since it arrived and the surface is dead quiet, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. A must for
