Victim of Love LP

The 2022 remaster really opens up the low end on this one, you can actually hear the bassline breathe instead of sounding muddy. Picked it up mostly for the disco cuts and the whole pressing sounds warm and clean.

I finally grabbed this on vinyl after only ever hearing it on streaming, and the 2022 remaster really lets the bass and strings breathe on tracks like "Thunder in My Heart." The pressing itself is clean and quiet too, no crackle at all right out of the sleeve.

I picked this up mainly for "Victim of Love" and the disco mix still holds up better than I remembered. The 2022 remaster gives the bass a real punch without making the horns sound harsh, and the vinyl itself played clean right out of the sleeve.
